Our Mission

The mission of the Institute for Coastal and Water Research is to improve understanding and management of coastal and water resources by connecting scientists, engineers, designers, government, and the public.  

Coastal restoration and water resource management present complex challenges. Addressing these issues requires innovative research from many partners, including public and private universities, state and federal agencies, non-profit groups, and private industry.
